8 Day Itinerary | St Vincent to Grenada

Day 1: Arrival in St Vincent

On arrival at St. Vincent, Freedom will be available to board, but feel free to explore this beautiful island first...

Begin you charter itinerary by sailing off from Blue Lagoon, St. Vincent. St. Vincent is one of the least touristy islands in the Caribbean—an unpretentious and relatively quiet island where fishermen get up at the crack of dawn to drop their nets into the sea, working people conduct business in town, and farmers work their crops in the countryside. Welcome dinner.

Day 2: St. Vincent – Bequia

Off to the exclusive Bequia Island. This island is perfect for your vacation. The port welcomes you with shops, restaurants and island flair, must stop at Sugar Reef Café. You may relax and enjoy beautiful sandy beaches, or adventure yourself into several wrecks and shallow caves for snorkeling. It is not unusual to see turtles, lobsters, eels and many kinds of fish when diving around Bequia.

Day 3: Bequia – Mustique

A laidback sail to Mustique in the Freedom yacht charter on an 8 miles sail aboard the boat. At the exclusive Island of Mustique a handful of luxury shops and restaurants await onshore. Head over to the World famous Basil’s Bar or to the Firefly Restaurant for cocktails and dinner.

Day 4: Mustique – Tobago Cays

Set sail south to the Tobago Cays, one of the most breathtaking anchorages in the world. This paradise with turquoise and crystal greenish waters is the perfect spot for snorkeling and swimming. At sunset dine aboard or at the beach under the stars.

Day 5: Tobago Cays – Mayreau – Union Island (Happy Island)

A 2 mile sail to the smallest inhabited island in the Grenadines. A white sand beach inside a well-protected harbor makes it a divine place for your yacht to anchor and you to just simply relax.

Then off to the unsophisticated, relaxed and friendly Union Island. Union is still off the beaten track. A charming destination and a great base to pick up a mooring and explore the natural beauty of this region, Union is a paradise for yachting enthusiasts, scuba divers, hikers and sun worshipers.

Day 6: Union Island – Petit St. Vincent and Petit Martinique

Petit St. Vincent “ one of the world’s most enchanting hideaways” is our next destination, approx. 6 miles away. Locally known as PSV, this hiker’s paradise of soft rolling hills of tropical woodlands , is surrounded by nearly 2 miles of white powdered sand beaches.

Day 7: Petit St. Martinique – Carriacou

A gentle sail away, we will find the pearly white sandy beaches of Carriacou. We can spend the day snorkelling, scuba diving or just play in the beautiful aquamarine water, almost guaranteed to have this classic desert island to ourselves.

The surrounding reefs offer superb diving, and it is easy to marvel at colourful corals and tropical fish while snorkelling from the south-western tip of the island along a gentle current.

Dinner can be enjoyed on board but it is worth the effort to explore the little island of Carriacou…perhaps enjoy Lazy Turtle Beach Bar homemade ice cream or visit Patty’s deli.

Day 8: Carriacou – St. George’s

On way to St Georges we will stop at the Underwater Sculpture Park, then feel free to explore the beautiful Grenada. The House of Chocolate for decadent chocolate products, Art Batik selling beautiful handmade shirts, sarongs, scarves, napkins etc, the working Belmont Estate cocoa plantation or for a beautiful photo spot, take an uphill hike to Fort George with stunning views of the city, harbour and ocean.
